Last making 101
Last Shaping.
From our drafting, a shank template is made. This template acts to trueing tool through the shank during the tranformation of the foot model to a last. These trueing tools is one of the many tools in a factory model makers tool kit.
Once the preliminaries are completed, the sole shape and profiles, the rest of the modeling process is guided by last design theory.
