Lastmakers Wanted.
We currently have a position open for lastmakers who have attended our physiological custom moulded last classes. We occasionally get calls for last making services and we would like to fill those request. However, because we are a school and our concentration is on education instead of last making, we do not have time to fill orders and educate. Therefore, we are currently looking for individuals who would like to fill this need on a case-by-case basis. The lasts made will be quality control checked by our head administrator. To qualify: you must have attended our intermediate last making class, and you must have your own shop/studio and equipment. Previous shoe & last making experience desired.

Softwear Developer
We currently have a position open for software developer. The right canadate would have 3 years of software developement skills, must have a fashion design degree with a specialty in pattern developement. The right individual must be both techincal , mathmatical and creative. He/she must be familiar with practical geometery ( not theoretical), 2 years experienc in Solid works and Rino cad programs. The individual must have an abilty to lead a team of software develpers and designers into developing a new and simplistic method of designing lasts.Like all other postions available at our school, the canidate must have taken the three week intermediate last making course from Lastmaking School.com. contact us for further details.
We currently have positions open for custom shoemakers. Shoe making experience required. Because we are a school and our concentration is on education instead of lastmaking, we do not have time to fill orders and educate. Therefore, we are currently looking for individuals who would like to fill this need on a case-by-case basis. The shoes will be made on the physiological custom moulded last our school teaches. The Shoes will be quality controlled for fit, function, walkability, style, and comfort. You must have your own shop/studio and equipment.

You will assist the client in developing a footwear style and pattern and will work as a liason between the footwear maker and the customer. We occasionally get calls for ped-orthic services and we would like to fill those request. However, because we are a school and our concentration is on education instead of footwear construction, we do not have time to fill orders and educate. Therefore, we are currently looking for individuals who would like to fill this need on a case-by-case basis. The lasts, shoes and appliances made by you will be quality control checked by our head administrator for fit, function, walk ability, style, and comfort.
